We feel it is important to know who you are working with and who is out in your yard, getting the job done. Here are photos and some information on some of our employees.
Alex I founded Alex's Lawn & Turf, LLC in 1993. I set my standards high and began providing premium lawn care with attention to detail on every site. Pride in workmanship and honesty in business is at the core of our company ethic. Our 98% customer retention rate is a true testament to the quality of service and customer care that is the cornerstone of our business philosophy. I have been a lifelong resident of the Twin Cities, and have given much back to the community. At a young age I became an Eagle Scout, and I bring my dedication to community service to Alex's Lawn & Turf. Our company supports many local non-profit organizations and cancer research programs.
Jim is Alex’s father and has been with the company since it has started. He had a great career at 3M and once he retired decided he would help Alex’s Lawn and Turf full time as the CFO of the company. Jim is great with numbers and a true “pencil pusher”. He helps get the crews motivated and out the door in the morning with his motivational pep talks. Be sure to say hi to Jim next time you call in!
Tina has been working part-time with us over the past few years. Tina worked as an office assistant as she attended the University of Saint Thomas. She has now graduated from Saint Thomas with an Accounting and Business Communication degree and will be working with us full time. She brings a lot of new, fresh ideas to the company and we are glad to have her on our team. Say hi to Tina next time you call in!
Joe has been working as a crew lead for Alex's Lawn & Turf for many years! Joe and his crew spend the majority of their time working on our commercial properties. With Joe’s attention to detail, he always gets the job done in an efficient way. Joe truly has the ability to make properties look great!
Roberto has been working on our crews for the past 10 years! He has a ton of experience running our grass crews and does many of our residential homes. Roberto does a great job mowing some of the finest yards in Minnesota! We are confident in the work that Roberto does. Say hi to him next time he is in your yard.
Jeff is part of our landscape installation team. Jeff has a true passion for landscaping, and began working in the landscape industry before he finished high school. Jeff has built some of the finest high-end landscapes in the Twin Cities. He joins our team as a landscape foreman. With his 15+ years of knowledge, we are excited to have him on our team! Kyle is also part of our landscape installation team and operations. Kyle began his career with landscaping at a young age, installing pavers and other various landscape projects. He then made the transition to the construction industry during the big construction boom. As he spent time in construction, he realized his true calling was landscaping. He enjoys being creative and getting the job done right and on time! Say hi to Kyle as he leads your next landscape project!
Carlos is a licensed fertilizer and weed control applicator. He really has enthusiasm when it comes to healthy, lush lawns. Through the classes he took to become a licensed applicator – he learned the precise amounts of fertilizer and weed control to create a beautiful lawn. Tell Carlos hi when he is out providing your lawn with much needed nutrients!
